当園は1978年創設以来30年に亘り、要介護高齢者が在宅で暮らし続けられるため、365日・昼夜2食の配食サービスや24時間365日型訪問介護サービスなど、多くの先駆的な実践をしてきました。また、施設サービスでは福祉的終末期ケアや認知症ケアでわが国の高齢者福祉に大きく貢献し、特に嚥下障害に役立つ介護食の開発では日本栄養改善学会賞を受賞しています。
